Bio

Holly Marble, a native of Colorado Springs, graduated with an award for academics and dance from the National Academy of Arts in Champaign, IL. During her 10 year career with Nevada Ballet Theatre, she rose quickly to the rank of Principal Dancer, dancing a wide repertoire of classical, contemporary and original works. With Nevada Ballet Theatre, Marble toured extensively throughout the country as a performer while also serving as company manager. Ms. Marble has taught and choreographed for schools across the United States. At the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre she served as Director and Principal Teacher. It was there that her efforts were recognized with an award for excellence in teaching. Ms. Marble believes it is a powerful and fulfilling endeavor to mentor young artists to understand how the art of dance can contribute to the greater community through individual expressions of grace. She has studied anatomy and kinesiology, is certified in Pilates, and has attended numerous courses in dance pedagogy. She is committed to understanding the most current developments in dance science attending course at Z-Health, IADMS, Leading Edge Dance and six Level 1 and 2 workshops with Lisa Howell. Holly is passionate about sharing this knowledge with her students, ensuring safe physical development and injury prevention. The A Time To Dance Faculty works as a team to implement healthy and safe training for their students incorporating Lisa Howells’ work into its curriculum.
