Lisa continues to be fascinated by the complexity of the body and how it compensates when a person is experiencing pain. Committed to giving all of her patients a large amount of one-on-one time, she wants to get to know her patients and identify the source of their pain and dysfunction. With her extensive background in most forms of dance and five years as a hockey trainer, she has a special knowledge of how to treat athletic injuries.
The workshop gave me some great ideas for dance specific manual treatment, education, strengthening and releasing. I have also used the information for injury prevention programs for dancers.
