COVID-19 Workshop Update

Hi Everyone, we hope you are holding up ok in these super crazy times!

Due to the extreme uncertainty of the current situation, we have had to make the unfortunate decision to postpone or cancel many upcoming workshops. This has been a difficult decision in a very fluid situation and we recognise it imposes significant inconvenience for all. However, the potential risks, at a time when we are trying to contain the spread of this virus, outweighs the inconvenience.

We are currently aiming to reschedule the upcoming workshops for an alternative date in September - December when this will have likely all cooled down. We are so sad to have to do this, but would rather do it now than closer to the time with more stress for everyone involved.

All the Norwegian workshops were cancelled at very short notice due to the rapidly evolving situation last week. Now that I am back in Australia, my team and I will be contacting all individuals affected to transfer, refund, or modify your booking.

For the upcoming workshops in April in both QLD and NSW, both will be postponed to a later date towards the end of the year. A separate email will be sent out to all participants who are already booked in with the options available to you. As the new dates are confirmed these will be updated on The Ballet Blog.

At this point it is also likely that the European workshops in June will also have to be postponed, but we will make a final decision on this by the end of March. If they need to be postponed we will aim to still run them in October/ November.

The workshops planned for the USA and Canada in August should be able to go ahead, but again, we are taking things day by day at present so please stay tuned for updates.

If you have already booked your place on any one of these courses, please keep an eye on your emails for the options available over the next 2 weeks as things unfold. We will be dealing with reorganising the bookings in the order that the workshops were to be held so please be patient as we work our way through the hundreds of individuals that this crisis has affected.

I will also be working on several free resources for everyone to share with their dancing friends and students to help make the most of their time at home, so keep an eye out for those!

Talk soon, stay safe.
