Cassandra Tumasz is a dancer/singer/actress, dance teacher, choreographer, and fitness instructor based in New York City. She graduated magna cum laude from Elon University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a BS in Dance Science. She has also trained at Broadway Dance Center through their Professional Semester, Florence Dance Center in Italy, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, and with the Radio City Rockettes. She has held internships with performing arts physical therapists and health/wellness practitioners in Los Angeles, CA. Cassandra is a member of Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity, Inc., Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Society, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is a recipient of Elon University’s Lumen Prize and presented her original research at the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science conference in 2017. She was a 2018-19 Fulbright Study UK semi-finalist. She has taught and choreographed for various studios across the East Coast. She currently teaches ballet to the Central Park Ice skating team and works as a barre instructor at Physique 57.
