Alexandra graduated from James Cook University in 2011 with first class honours. She was the recipient of an academic medal and the research foundation prize for academic excellence in research for her work with The Australian Ballet on low back pain in professional ballet dancers.

Alexandra also has a strong background in dance. She started dancing at the age of 3, training in the RAD syllabus in Canberra. She then went onto train at The Boston Ballet School in America before dancing with The Tulsa Ballet. Upon returning to Australia she has continued to dance as well as teach ballet and contemporary whilst attaining her physiotherapy degree. She also maintains a keen interest in pilates, yoga and fitness training and can often be seen at 6am exercising on the beach. She is now looking forward to being able to combine her passion for the arts and for helping people prevent injuries by providing quality physiotherapy services.
